When you first encounter this prompt for your product key, just hit next and proceed with setup.

Choose which version of Windows you have purchased, check the box and click Next.

Once the first install of Vista is completed and you start the second install from within Vista, you'll need to enter your product key.

Choose "Custom (advanced)" to perform a clean install.

Once the second install of Vista has been completed, you can activtate your installation through Microsoft.Microsoft internal documentation reveals workaround for Vista Upgrade DVDs with no need for a previous version of Windows

Just when everyone thought that all hope was lost when it comes to performing a clean install with a Windows Vista Upgrade DVD, a gleam of light can now be seen at the end of the tunnel. A new workaround proposed by Paul Thurrott (via Microsoft internal documents) has been confirmed to work by DailyTech.

We reported on Monday that Microsoft doesn't perform disc checking anymore during an operating system install. In the past, when performing a clean install, a user could boot from an install CD and insert a disc from a previous version of Windows for upgrade compliance.

Per Microsoft's new licensing requirements for Vista, users are required to install a Windows Vista Upgrade from within Windows XP. When this occurs, the Windows XP license is forfeited and the Windows Vista installation process can take place.

Now, however, this workaround allows users to perform a “clean install.” The process is a bit tedious, but is not hard at all to complete. Users have to perform these simple steps to perform a clean install of Vista without a previous version of Windows installed with an upgrade DVD:

Boot from the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD and start the setup program.

When prompted to enter your product key, DO NOT enter it. Click "Next" and proceed with setup. This will install Windows Vista as a 30-day trial.

When prompted, select the edition of Vista which you have purchased and continue with setup.

Once setup has been completed and you have been brought to the desktop for the first time, run the install program from within Windows Vista.

This time, type in your product key when prompted.

When asked whether to perform an Upgrade or Custom (advanced) install, choose Custom (advanced) to perform a clean install of Vista. Yes, this means that you will have to install Vista for a second time.

Once setup has completed for the second time, you should be able to activate Windows Vista normally. You can also delete the Windows.old directory which contains information from the first Vista install.

There's no telling why Microsoft left this loophole wide open with Windows Vista Upgrade DVDs, but this means that any retail upgrade DVD can be used as a fully functioning full retail copy of Vista.

Hvis du ikke har webkamera så kan du bruke telefonen din som webkamera til for eksempel MSN, eller et annet program der du trenger webkamera/videokonferanse.

Denne guiden er basert på min Qtek 8010, Se nederst for info om WM5.

Det du trenger er:
1. Windows mobil med kamera
2. Active sync Remote Display control
3. Luminositi SoftCam software

må betale etter en viss tid, men du kan da ihvertfall prøve det..

Ved hjelp av konfiguratoren kan du enkelt sette opp din telefon mot Telenor, Netcom, Tele2, Hello, NewPhone, Ventelo og TDC Song sine nett. Konfiguratoren setter opp telefonen for Internett, WAP og MMS.

Følgende nye terminaler er nå støttet: HTC S620, HTC S310, HTC P3300 og HTC P3600. Konfiguratoren fungerer fra før på Qtek 9000, 9100, 8300, 8310, 8500, S200 og HTC MTeoR og TyTN.

Alle kan laste ned konfiguratoren, uansett merke og distributør.

En svenske har samme problem :

"For me it doesn't matter to physically have the characterbuttons on the keyboard - but an updated driver or patch so you can USE the characters should be considered. I've tried to modify the driver myself, changing KB layout - but I was unsuccessful.

I would be very glad if you would look into this matter because your keyboard is absolutely SUPERIOR to all of the BT keyboards out there (and specially compared to the "Freedom Keyboard" that misses five out of ten keypresses!), and as I've already spent my hard earnt cash on it.. Thank you!

Svenskene får HSDPA, og det til en fantastisk hyggelig pris. Fra Telenor, av alle! Jeg betaler når 549,- kr pr måned for maksimalt 3G dekning. Fra og med september betaler svenskene kr 199,- pr måned (!) for data, og da har de HSDPA-dekning. Før den tid er databruk gratis!

This program is only for use with the new Phone Roms that provide the Today Plugin, "Device Lock".

This small program can be launched, and it will immediately lock the phone using that plugin.

I'm not sure what it's compatible with - it works on my HTC Universal, and may work on the HTC Wizard.

This program could be assigned to a hardware key, or set to be activated every time you switch on the Phone, to have it automatically locked.

Using the displayoff mode you can switch off the display and lock the keys, permitting use while listening to music etc.

VJDeviceLock can install a notifcation event, so that every time you switch on the Phone, it will autolock.
Remember to -remove before uninstalling VJDeviceLock or you will get error messages.
The DeviceLock Today plugin is not required for use!

Command Line Options
(none) Enable lock
-pwroff Lock and power off
-install Install automatic lock on power on
-remove Remove automatic lock

-displayoff Switch off display and lock
-displayon Switch on display
-displaytoggle Toggle display

The default shortcuts will only work on English language OS in the default install folder. Please edit the shortcuts for non English versions.
